This trip is designed for those living in Europe who wish to travel to Ghana with a safe and trusted group, led by an experienced partner, for a truly life-changing experience.

We invite you to join our Diaspora Wellhouse ‘Back to Your Roots’ journey to the Mother Continent, and specifically to Ghana.

For seven days, we will immerse ourselves in Ghana’s rich history, culture, hospitality, and spirituality.

From the vibrant streets of Accra to the serene beauty of the Aburi Botanical Gardens, every moment of this journey is filled with meaning and reverence for our ancestors.

We will visit the Assin Manso Ancestral Slave River Park, where our ancestors took their last bath before being forced to embark on the journey to the “New World.”

We will pay tribute to the courage of those who lost their lives in the struggle for freedom at the infamous Elmina Castle.

And we will be guided by experienced Griots (storytellers) who keep the history and traditions of our people alive.

By registering for the 7-day Ghana Well-being Retreat - SANKOFA | BACK TO YOUR ROOTS, organized by Diaspora Wellhouse, you agree to the following terms:

• A non-refundable deposit of €250 is required to secure your spot.

• The full remaining balance must be paid by October 1, 2025. This payment is also non-refundable.

• We do not offer payment plans, so we kindly ask participants to adhere to the payment schedule.

• Participants are responsible for arranging their own vaccinations. Please note: Ghana does not allow entry without proof of Yellow Fever vaccination.

• Ghana requires a visa for entry. The visa fee is approximately €60. We work with a trusted partner who can assist with visa processing at an additional fee of €30 (paid separately by the participant).

• If you wish to arrive earlier or extend your stay after the group trip, this is possible at your own expense. We can provide recommendations and advice.

• Please note that airport pick-up and drop-off are only included on the official arrival and departure days of our group trip. If you arrive or depart on different dates, you will need to arrange your own airport transfer.
